What i need to do to become a new Mau owner

Probably i am writting to the bad topic, sorry for that. What i need to do to become a new Mau owner? I just need to contact breeder or i am supposed to register myself in some association? I am from Czech rep. and closest breeders are in France. Is here some category or topic where to find contact on some breeders? Thanks for help
