my first Mau girl

Hi all,

just wanted to introduce myself and my upcoming new Mau girl here.

i have bred burmese for almost 10 years now and in three weeks i will be going to pick up my first mau girl in the UK.
She is named Aalspotz Regal Princess and she is a very handsome smoke.

hope to meet some more people with Mau's here as there seem to be very few breeders around in Europe.
and also get some more info about lines and pedigrees.

also my question if someone knows if there is an online Egyptian Mau pedigree database.
We do have a pretty large one for the burmese and i find it very usefull when trying to get into a breed and trying to sort out which lines and males might be suited for your breedingprogramm.

yeah, i am very excited to be allowed to get this girl to me.
She is still at her breeder in the UK at the moment.
in order to travel to europe, she needs to have a chip and rabies and that has to be at least 30 days old.
so we have to wait still a couple of weeks.
she will probably come to us around the last week of may, first week of june.
also very excited to travel to england.
i have needed to travel some for my burmese lines (sweden, danmark, south-africa for our burmese stud Kashmir) but i have never been to the UK before:))

hopefully you will be able to go in May, Uk is at its best during that month!!
will you fly over,!!!
will you be able to stay a few days??? I could give you some tips to where to go and what to visit!!

for your queries, I think the best people to ask would be Hallepee or Felix (they are quite busy at the moment so be patient ok!!!
However,it might help them to know who's the breeder of Princess Aalspotz Regal (is it mrs Bateson?!)

Of course, we do have a database but I think you should wait for an answer of "Dhallepee": he is the expert....
I am sure he will be happy to give you more info about this subject..

We have a database, but it is not on line (and won't be).

We use it for aime members, so it's one of the numerous to join us.

lol, yeah i hope to see some from Hull at least.
we are going to travel bij ferry from Rotterdam to Hull.
Mrs Threapleton, her breeder lives fairly close to Hull and can meet us there.
Still contemplating if we should add an extra day to our trip to give us a bit of time to sightsee.
But we have to travel by car in order to take a pet with the ferry and my husband and I are quite nerveous about driving on the left side in the UK.

So we will probaby ditch the car on a parkinglot as close to the harbor as possible and go further by bus:))

to bad the mau database isn't online.

Hull is not the most attractrive city in uk, so don't have preconceived ideas about England first hand!!! :ange:
however Noth Humberside is a lovely County!!!
If you can try to turn this picking up event to a long discovery holiday weekend, York is not far from Hull and is a must to be seen, Scarborough or Bridlington & so much more cannot be missed either!!! the Yorkshire people a great people, and I'm sure you will like them...
As to drive?! no real probs, it is still old England, quite civilised, your only problems will be the round abouts!!! there will always be a pub around to cool off!!!
I'm very much looking forward to have more pictures of Miss Aalspotz Regal Princess, hope you will oblige soon.
As to the database, well it is just a step away from you!!! all you need to do is becoming a member of AIME§§§
