Maus from Finland

Here are my little mau girls.


This is Binchu. She has born December 31st 2008. Her official name is Chai-lai Akila Umayma. She is my first mau and my first love at maus too. Unfortunately she had little hernia and she had to neutered. She is very good looking girl and she might have been good mom too. Now she goes to shows and collect her certificates.

I am going to get mau from France. I am making business with Bernard and if everything goes fine I will have a new mau boy at the early of next year.
I am also getting another girl next year to be my breeding queen. She comes from Finland.

In Finland we have about 40 maus, so we have a very little sociaty. We have to get maus abroad to keep our blood line good. One might say that maus aren't that well known in Finland, but we are doing lot of work to make them better known.

If you have the time, could you tell us more of how the Egyptian Mau arrived in Finland ???
(I could translate it into french for many here would be very much interested by the suject)
Do you have the 4 Mau colours in your country?
where does the Finnish Mau stock come from for example!

The first Egyptian Mau arrived to Finland at 90's but our first Mau was born on 2006. Aziza is black smoke girl, very beautiful lady who has been neutered this summer.
First Maus were brought from Belgia and Luxemburgh. We only have two active catteries in Finland. We have Iltavilli and Chai-lai. My cattery is just established and I am searching for another female. This little Eemeli boy is coming for our king. :-)

We have three colours in Finland. Our colours are silver spotted, black smoke and bronze spotted. We don't have any black maus or blue smokes. Actually, we don't have many bronze either. Iltavilli and Chai-lai both breed silver and black smoke maus.

I hope I wrote it to be understand able. :-)

for bronze, which are your choices in Finland ? Pharaonic mau (brown with black spots as the egyptian lines) or Indian maus (rather red because of rufus) ?

Pharaonic maus are the standard in Loof. indian maus are the prefered in CFA

I believe that Finnish bronze maus are mostly pharaonic lines. I've met only one bronze mau and he is son of two silver maus so he is quite pale bronze.

Only two weeks until Entechenes arrives!! "I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it. I'm about to lose control and I think I like it!"

They are here! We have 8 new mau babies in Finland! My friends two maus gave birth for 3 black smoke girls, 2 silver girls, 2 silver boys and 1 smoke boy!

"Groaah! I am a Tigger!! I have claws!"

Eemi is very happy little boy! He made the trip to Finland in good condition and was only a little tired when I took him home. He slept in my laps and when he was awake he "washed up" my face.

Wonderfull !!!
